Cobaw Club Supported Holiday Program – Adult Respite
These supported holidays are respite programs we run at a local Bed & Breakfast in Kyneton. They are funded by Uniting Care – Respite for Carers and Macedon Ranges Shire Council HACC respite.

The venue is a 4-bedroom house, which is fully self-contained, and from where we can run a program in a home-like and comfortable atmosphere. This house is not set up to cater for people with very high care needs, but can cater to most people’s needs with the use of portable equipment.  We hope you will be as excited as we are at the prospect of spending a comfortable few days away from home in a group holiday atmosphere, whilst giving the people who care for you a break.

All staff are qualified support workers able to assist you with personal care, monitoring health needs and medication if you require it. There will be one to two staff rostered on at all times.

Respite is run one weekend (Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) 8 times per year. Cost is $20 per night which includes all venue and food, activities and staffing.
